Tactical Considerations for Mitigation

For effective mitigation during Stages 1 and 2, remember the following:

• Identify the number and location of modules involved.
• Access safety data sheets.
• Evaluate thermal propagation potential.
• Verify electrical isolation of the BESS.
• Initiate ventilation.
• Provide maximum cooling to absorb heat generation and maintain thermal balance.
• Monitor for off-gassing.
